A label becomes meaningful when you know what it covers. That is why we distinguish between your bag’s material, production in India and our role in Belgium.
The certification suitable for your bag depends on the fabric, finish and supply chain. When you enquire, we confirm which certificates and supporting documents apply to your project.
Fairtrade cotton and textile production certification cover different activities. For each certificate, we specify the entity, activities and products it covers.
BMG Bag Factory Private Limited (India) — FLO-ID 50717. Certificate issued on 10 October 2026, with stated validity until 10 October 2032. Scope: cotton, Trader / Manufacturer-Processor, CMT (Cut Make Trim). Standards: Fairtrade Trader Standard and Fairtrade Standard for Fibre Crops.

The Global Recycled Standard verifies and traces recycled material through the supply chain and also includes social, environmental and chemical requirements. Recycled material is not automatically GRS certified.

Scope: Trading (PR0030) of bags, handbags, totes and pouches made of 100% recycled cotton (pre- or post-consumer) or 100% recycled post-consumer polyester. A valid Transaction Certificate (TC) or equivalent evidence is required for a specific delivery.
